Definicja i użycie
Właściwość display
określa zachowanie wyświetlania (rodzaj ramki renderowania) elementu.
W języku HTML domyślna wartość właściwości wyświetlania jest pobierana ze specyfikacji HTML lub z domyślnego arkusza stylów przeglądarki/użytkownika. Domyślna wartość w XML jest wbudowana, w tym elementy SVG.
Domyślna wartość: | ? |
---|---|
Dziedziczny: | nie |
Animowalny: | nie. Przeczytaj o animacji |
Wersja: | CSS1 |
Składnia JavaScript: | obiekt .style.display = "brak" |
Obsługa przeglądarki
Liczby w tabeli określają pierwszą wersję przeglądarki, która w pełni obsługuje tę właściwość.
Property | |||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|
display | 4.0 | 8.0 | 3.0 | 3.1 | 7.0 |
Uwaga: Wartości „flex” i „inline-flex” wymagają prefiksu -webkit- do działania w przeglądarce Safari.
Uwaga: „display: content” nie działa w Edge wcześniejszej wersji 79.
Składnia CSS
display: value;

Przykład
Demonstracja korzystania z wartości właściwości content. W poniższym przykładzie kontener .a zniknie, a elementy potomne (.b) będą dziećmi elementu na wyższym poziomie w DOM:
.a {
display: contents;
border:
2px solid red;
background-color: #ccc;
padding: 10px;
width: 200px;
}
.b {
border: 2px solid blue;
background-color: lightblue;
padding: 10px;
}
Przykład
Demonstracja, jak korzystać z wartości właściwości dziedziczenia:
body {
display: inline;
}
p {
display: inherit;
}
Przykład
Ustaw kierunek niektórych elastycznych elementów wewnątrz elementu <div> w odwrotnej kolejności:
div {
display: flex;
flex-direction: row-reverse;
}
