Funkcje systemu plików umożliwiają dostęp do systemu plików i manipulowanie nim.
Instalacja
Funkcje systemu plików są częścią jądra PHP. Korzystanie z tych funkcji nie wymaga instalacji.
Kompatybilność z Uniksem / Windows
Podczas określania ścieżki na platformach Unix, jako separator katalogów używany jest ukośnik (/).
Na platformach Windows można używać zarówno ukośnika (/), jak i ukośnika odwrotnego (\).
Konfiguracja środowiska uruchomieniowego
Na zachowanie funkcji systemu plików mają wpływ ustawienia w php.ini.
