Funkcje MySQLi umożliwiają dostęp do serwerów baz danych MySQL.
Uwaga: Rozszerzenie MySQLi zostało zaprojektowane do pracy z MySQL w wersji 4.1.13 lub nowszej.

Aby funkcje MySQLi były dostępne, musisz skompilować PHP z obsługą rozszerzenia MySQLi.
Rozszerzenie MySQLi zostało wprowadzone w PHP w wersji 5.0.0. Natywny sterownik MySQL został dołączony do PHP w wersji 5.3.0.
